These images were designs I developed from WW2 fighters. First is the ZERO. The Mazda NC really looks good in it's JDM theme.
Following on with a F4U Corsair with some not so Subtle TEETH! I'm not sure older generations would like the US themes on Japanese cars but this is 2011.
This P-51D Mustang influence was evident in this
Mustangs Spinner might make for a cowl.
Modern design is sometimes subtle. It's amazing how far a matt green vinyl wrap could go.
